We are delighted to announce that we have received funding to deliver dance to the Ullapool area all year – for a second year!

Thanks to significant support from The Robertson Trust, Creative Scotland, People’s Postcode Trust and Cashback for Communities and partnership with Eden Court and Dance Base we are able to employ a full time Dance Development Officer. This work was  initially  carried out by freelance teacher Julia McGhee who still makes very popular visits to teach at Ullapool Dance.

In January 2018 Alice Wilkins started full time as our Dance Development Officer covering Ullapool and outlying areas as far as Badcaul, Lochinver and Achiltibuie. In 2019 she was joined by Mickey Anderson before they both left to further their dance careers elsewhere.

In May 2019 we recruited Laura MacLennan as our DDO and look forward to working, and dancing with her.
